Christopher Thomas Drury, born August 20, 1976, in Trumbull, Connecticut, began his hockey journey at a young age. He excelled in youth hockey and later starred at Boston University, winning the Hobey Baker Award in 1998. Drafted by the Quebec Nordiques (later Colorado Avalanche), Drury quickly made his mark in the NHL, winning the Calder Trophy in 1999. He played for the Avalanche, Calgary Flames, Buffalo Sabres, and New York Rangers, serving as captain of the Rangers. Drury was known for his exceptional leadership qualities, strong work ethic, and clutch scoring ability. He represented the United States in multiple international competitions, including the Olympics. After retiring from playing, Drury transitioned to management, currently serving as the President and General Manager of the New York Rangers.
